Just made this.

Print it (or take a picture with your cell phone) and use it together with a luggage weight :)

A full Campingaz 907 bottle is 6,4 kg and empty is 3,7 kg … if you weight your bottle, this chart will give you an indication of how much gas you have left.

[EDIT: New version. First had a typo]

Can this be put in the downloads section as my iPad does not open it properly?

Brilliant thank you

Yes agree very usefull information to know
But practically not , unless everytime want no how much gas left , have go hassle taking rear shelf out & putting back , disconnecting & reconnecting gas supply then weighing , what saga ??

Far better as welsh Gas ⛽️ says carry spare as I do , or another option fit a Gas dial gauge near regulator .

Yes usefull info to check new bottle is full when first buy , also check empty when disconnect .

But think best option just carry spare , still usefull to no the chart either way

Funny :) I made the chart because I wanted to get rid of my spare. I carried a 907 spare for one season. Never again, too much dead weight and space taken. I know a bottle lasts approx. one season in my household, so I only weigh it a few times towards the end of a season. For backup, I carry an adapter for the small canisters I use for the Cadac.

Interesting , iv got cadac 2 cook 2 pro, was not aware could get adaptor for primus type power gas iso butane disposable cans.
Have to send link / picture of it, is it a cadac accessory??
Cadac pan supports brilliant , RIBBED stops pans sliding.
Shame volks never put them on there stove
Smooth slippy grill pan supports are nightmare at times !!

Unfortunatly not. Ist 5 years ago. Will try to remember to take a picture next time I am in the Cali.

The first post in this thread says an empty bottle is 3.7kg, but mine says that empty it is 3.3kg. I suppose the weight printed on the bottle might not include the brass fitting at the top, but surely that itself isn't 400grams?

Do other people's bottles say 3.3kg on them, but somehow they're really 3.7kg? Or do these bottles vary?
