I had same issue earlier, in the end I did a Google search which as with anything Cali related always directs to here!Really weird, but when I search the forum for
fire extinguisher
It says oops, we ran into a problem.
@KevC
Ditto. We have a Fire Safety Stick.
The nice people at MyCalifornia.eu included on which lives in the seat drawer. I'll get the details next time I'm in the van. It's about 12 inches long and 4-5 inches wide.Do you carry one in your California ?
Which one.
Weight and type?
I'm soldI’ve found the guy who imports them.
Andrew Richardson.
He gave the Motor Home Funsters 15% off a group buy.
I’ve rung Joe at Fire Safety Stick and asked Andrew to join the forum and give us all a 15% discount. Joe was happy to pass this on and they are advocates of fire safety so very interested I. Reaching the 2k members on here.
Cool huh
That’s blinking brilliant isn’t it !I'm sold
Thanks @Californication69I’ve found the guy who imports them.

Andrew has been in contact and the discount will be available soon !Thanks @Californication69
I'm interested for both van and home - looks a great bit of kit !
Any idea when the discount may be available ?
Its not like a regular powder extinguisher. The technology and how it works is completely different. The regular powder ones contain bicarb to smoother the flame. The fire stick uses potassium nitrate. This is the description how the chemical works. I think it is an ideal solution for a confined space like a Cali.Have a 2kg powder one - home and van, chose to use the home one on a fire and yes its messy, but easier to clear up than smoke damage. Once these expire may get a couple of the sticks but having had a fire in an engine bay of an old vehicle not convinced from that video it would have enough oompf
Leave poor KevC alone (I won’t tag him) it’s @calikev you need to refer to!I’ve found the guy who imports them.

I’m wondering if @KevC would allow me to ask Andrew if he would do the same thing on VWCC.
I’ve reached out to Andrew on LinkedIn.
