First Night together

We've only been away twice since buying ours but we too have heard a clicking noise, just glad it's normal, will have to get used to it

This could go big , Beach/SE style punch up :pinkbanana

True, especially if ones duvet or sleeping bag is lowered and riding on 20's!!!

Sorry about the banana Sideplod. I swore I'd never add one but couldn't resist in this instance!!!

You're entitled to step on a banana skin once in a while ;)

Just had my own first night (as it were) as well. I agree that the bottom bunk is a bit firm. Our solution is the Duvalay which has a 2.5mm memory foam base and a duvet over the top all stitched together. I know others use these too.

All I can say is it seems like the best of both worlds - easy to pack/roll like a sleeping bag and yet feels like a proper bed. Fits nicely on the rear shelf. And the wife can't pinch your duvet as (a) you each have one and (b) there stitched to you own mattress.

They are a bit pricey - but we found some new at a significant discount with Mr Edward Bay [eBay].
