Height Restricted Car Parks - Fit for a California.

A standard Cali is never higher than 1,99m with or without the (original Thule ) awning
The awning is not the highest point , the middle of the roof is.
I agree with the max height as 1990, however not the highest point (in my case). I checked ours with a long spirit level across the roof and tape to the ground. I found that the awning at the front was the highest point, by about 10-15 mm higher than any part of the roof.

Hengrove Park Leisure Centre (Bristol) multi story is 2m and okay. We were cautious going in the first time as the ramps up to the higher floors are very steep, but all was well. Still makes me catch my breath though.

Derby’s shopping arcade, imaginatively called Derbion, is okay if you go to the multi story (2.03m) but NOT the basement (1.83m).

Parkopedia tends to give height restrictions for car parks.

Beware of the Victoria Centre in Nottingham. The subterranean part of the car park is 1.83m, but there is a smallish open part next to the bus station which is okay.

Parking at NCP Stockport Exchange is ok, very safe, two minutes from rail station but a bit pricey.

It is an excuse to lower your van and justify your expense. 2m has never been a problem to me on standard set up.
