Having suspected that we had a leak in the gas compartment we booked it in to Citygate in Colindale and it has been confirmed that there is a leak. Although they sell Californias none of the staff know anything about the maintenance or repair of a campervan as opposed to a plain van. They don't have an association with a gas safe engineer and we've just learnt that they are using google
to try to locate someone.
So I think the only way of getting this sorted - before the summer is over - is to try to find a gas safe engineer myself. It would need to be someone who can get to Citygate in North West London.
What is the best way to find a gas safe engineer who is used to working with campers/Californias and is in this area?
