Sorry, another Coast good news report incoming. Just had confirmation from my dealer that my Coast is in the country. Hoping to pick up in 2 weeks. Order confirmed early August 21. Options include Ascot Grey, reversing camera, tow bar, 5th seat and rear air con. Ordered via Autoebid and dealer is Listers in Droitwich.

Same broker , same intermediary and also a coast with similar options. Last heard a week ago it was in transit from factory so am hoping mine was on same shipment. When ordered I was advised delivery was included so hope that’s still the case .

It's been 4 weeks from when I first heard it was shipped to then arriving in country. Droitwich told me it's at a different garage for PDI check, can't remember where.

I do feel guilty jumping ahead of so many that are waiting longer. I'm concerned that us Coast owners will get a two finger salute from new Ocean drivers, instead of a friendly wave when we meet on the road

LHD Oceans seem to be the problem now, just over 12 months here. Not particularly worried as we’re half way through a nice Easter road trip in the old van as usual. Idly wondering though if vans are shipped by road/rail to Spain and Portugal because that would save a couple of weeks.

That said, I’ve never noticed a transporter full of Calis on my travels

Latest update from dealer: most likely no delivery before October.

News from dealer today, after I emailed - scheduled build date now showing as 9th May (so week 19?). Jun ‘21 order, Ocean 150, no tow bar. Quiet optimism is the general feeling now, touch wood etc etc.

I think i’ll do the same, 150 Ocean ordered 04/2021, last I heard from the dealer was “early May” but I doubt that now - I asked for a few weeks warning before it arrives to allow me to get the current van on sale - and have heard nothing

My build week 9 ocean is now at a UK port so I should have possesion in the next few weeks. Which would bring it in at a 12 month lead time.

Quick question on pick-up - do VW provide any short term insurance or do I need to arrange this prior to collection?

204 Ocean here. Ordered October 2021 and just had a build week of 27. No idea whether that will move but I imagine it will.

Yes 5 days....Your dealer will give you the number prior to collecting to arrange insurance.
