New T6.1 order delays

Liverpool van centre have messaged me today to say our Coast is built and ‘and awaiting shipping to the UK’. ETA ‘maybe the end of next month’.
Uh? Two months to ship a van from Germany the UK?

Exactly. It’ll be here early June I imagine. There are tales of people who’ve had a 6 week wait sat in the port tho so I’m not planning anything until July.
First stop, camping with grandkids (3 and 6 years) who we’ve not seen through lockdown or Covid infections. I can see we’ll be selling it after a weekend away

Rang for update on mine but still status 10, provisional build week 23. Ordered end June 21. Waiting for status 20.

Also called today for update on my Ocean 150 and was told changed to status 10, provisional week 34 build, which is further off than I was hoping. Ordered end of June 2021.

Was told the dates are swinging around all the time and he was reluctant to give me the build week as it might change again. I said I'll not hold you to it!

We were down at Breeze Poole today collecting our new van, and they said it's been manic - vans arriving unexpectedly and very frequently now. There were loads of Cali's sat in their yard - more than I'd seen in one place before :) but they said that was quiet compared to what they'd seen recently.

Anyhow - here's a couple of pictures to keep you folks who are still waiting going - they do arrive eventually! :)

Like the wheels, were they a dealer fit option? what was the cost tyres and fitted if you don't mind me asking?

Yes! Just begun this week! I think maybe a lot of Unfinished van already built in stock there, when some missed parts arrived, the van has been finished very quickly, so you should get the good news soon.
Yes, ours was built but waited for a month before it was shipped - we guessed it was waiting on one part ! Hoping it got on the ship this week

Thanks! Yes they are, they came to £1759 fitted with all season Falkens IIRC. Now I have.a set of brand new Clayton’s to sell…

Thanks for the interior pics. I was interested to see the floor ..

standard flooring for MY 22 Coast supposed to be “plastic wood effect floor” but clearly not that ..

I do prefer the lighter wood effect finish on the Coast. What was the cost of the small drawer factory option?
Yeah, it's a cheery place to be :) The small drawer is part of:

ALG:QE6 - Storage Compartment Package £180.00

You also get a pre-attached storage net for the pop top hatch (not the child safety net).

Hope that helps!

No problem. That was definitely still an option at the time I ordered - late Aug 2021, but not the default.

I ordered in late November 2021 when “plastic wood effect floor” was standard. Let’s see what happens ..

It was an option on the Euro Coasts, and not a cheap one either at about 550 Euros. But I liked the look and went for it.

I will do what Cali Time did and retrofit the tiny drawer. Seems like a useful space organizer to have in the van.

This is very helpful to store books/phones/water bottles etc when upstairs in bed. Can be left in place and closed into the roof.

Can the net be retrofitted or does it require factory installed mounts?
Hi Peter,
Have you also had confirmation of delivery for your Campers.eu Cali? I'm scheduled to collect my Coast on May 28th. Order Nov 15th 2020.
