New T6.1 order delays

Van arrived finally at official dealer yesterday, after a long wait and despite having been told October.
Just came back from seeing it and checking that it is all there as ordered. Still need to get a clean, PDI check etc Happy that it is finally here, now getting the funds ready to make transfers etc.

Only the premium biturbo engines get a cover.

Today I was informed that my order is status code 20 week 34. So build week 22nd Aug.

He didn't seem that hopeful of no further delays, but if all goes well should have it late Sept

Thanks, it has been a long wait with a lot of struggles and obstacles, I have had three different build dates and I was even offered a deposit refund. I put in a very high spec back in July 20 I suppose, and that was the main set back with COVID factory then the micro chip shortage, they had set backs on the tow hook and side assist. The war apparently has not helped and finally they told me the lorry would not leave unless it had a full load and also to return. Again I guess it is the price of fuel and they have to make it worth their while as a round trip.

Hi - just thought I'd share progress on my Ocean 204 4motion order. Heard today that it's completed build and is at the port in Germany. Ordered September 2021 wiith many options including tow bar. Was given a build week of week 27 (wc 4th July). Starlight blue.

Appreciate some people are still waiting and would have ordered before me - just sharing in case it helps people gauge their order. Hoping others get good news before long too.

As above had a build date week 27 (4th July) and heard on 11th Aug it was built and waiting in a German port. Heard today it’s now in the UK and due at dealer 25/26th Aug. Dealer also mentioned a couple other vans with build week 27 were due same time so maybe things are becoming more predictable…

Good luck to everyone waiting for news on their vans, hope you get the call soon.

Always has been the case. Our van waited at the factory, and again at the port (5 weeks in all!). Once at the UK port of entry, then it’s rapid.

Notified it was built awaiting shipping on 29 July 2022.

Arrived in UK (Port of Tyne) on 13 August 2022

Still at port when I checked on Saturday.

Fingers crossed that we’re nearly there now.

We ordered our Ocean from Liverpool on 24 August 2021 (so almost at the 1 year anniversary)

Notified it was built awaiting shipping on 29 July 2022.

Arrived in UK (Port of Tyne) on 13 August 2022

Still at port when I checked on Saturday.

Fingers crossed that we’re nearly there now.

We were told (by Liverpool VC) that once the vehicle hits the UK port of entry, the vehicle must be registered (which is by the dealer) within 14 days.

I am indeed dealing with Amy......no idea whether UK or mainland Europe....happy its on its way

Not sure I can believe it after all this time....but need to go and raid the piggy bank and see what's left...;-)

October 4th 2021 order , Sales guy from Manchester informed me this morning our Ocean 4 motion is at Zeebrugge port for next available Boat to Grimsby , he said he had no updates on his system until today and was a surprise to him.

Another update from the dealer, van (June 21 order, May 22 build) has now landed in the UK and all being well hey should be able to deliver w/c 5th September. Have offered to collect (train strikes permitting) if it's any quicker!
