Last night we walked to the top of Kingley Vale in the middle of the South Downs National Park.
Ben (9) and Jack (7).
Stargazing was a bit rubbish because although it was a clear night, the moon was nearly full.
Leaving the van at dusk.
Through the spooky yew forest. We nearly jumped out of our skins when a pair of deer
walked by with their eyes
glowing green.
The view over Chichester Harbour and the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. We think the slight gap in lights towards the right of the picture is the entrance to Chichester Harbour, and the lights at the very back and to the right of the gap are on the Isle of Wight.
