Overlander event Belgium

For those who have intrest in some special vehicles,

this is happening nearly just in my backyard , never went to see as we usally are off on the road in the beginning of september when the event is , but this year i'm gonna take a look at the real "overlanders" as we already back home by then.

Went to check it out this afthernoon ....by bike....! Five minutes drive from my home.

Some very nice toys i saw there , only one Cali SE (Dutch liscense) and a double cab T5 with a unit on ( from a trader)
Plenty LR Defenders , Toyota's....
....and Unimog , big trucks 4x4 ,....
About 100 vehicles maximum

Saw they did workshops on Eberspacher, solarpanels , GPS systems,....
Some traders but not much.
More a meeting for people sharing experience , not seen that many "visitors "
Altough it was a free entrance....

It's that time of the year again , overlanders meet 2016 almost in my backyard.
Went to take a peak this afthernoon.
Only two converted VW T5 vans on the parkinglot .
Many BIG trucks on the campsite, a small impression....















This lastone got a pop-top , a slide out roof!

Wow, some serious machinery there. How lucky to live so near and enjoy looking at these vehicles.

I love trucks. I found it necessary to have a big vehicle in the southern countries where they respect you on the road only, if you are bigger.

It's that time of the year again.....overlander meet just arround the corner where i live !
Digging up this old thread , last year i could not go as we still were in Denmark but since we returned from this years Denmark trip last friday i needed to see the overlanders.
Top of the bill imo. was this
