The lady we booked it with said that she had capacity for more if more we're going . We mentioned there were a few maybe's on the forum and she said 'that would be nice if there's more '. Hope this helps

Andy, if you don't fancy tenting it they have very reasonably priced B&B rooms also.

I was talking to the Landlady this morning about the meet and there were a couple of B&B rooms available. We have had a few cold mornings recently, but there doesn't seem to be a consistent pattern. One day sunny, the high winds and driving rain the next. Are you going to South Hereford VW Garage?

Although staying with family in Garway will be going to South Hereford to pick VW parts for heater install for my Beach. On another thread on here!

It would be very nice to see you at the meet.
I hope you have access to a car as taxis are hard to get hold of around Tewksbury. We had to walk back to the site in June as there wasn't a taxi available.
Do you know where the pub is and to put Bishop's Walk into the SatNav not Lower Lode Lane which takes you to the other side of the river? The Post Code seems to vary with manufacturer as to which side it takes you.

Bit of a pain but have booked the Cali in for some beauty treatment and only appointment I could get means we will not be getting to Lower Lode until the Saturday.
On the plus side there will be plenty of people there already who are experienced Cali owners.

I've booked for weekend with electric hookup and as above not now going to get there until the Saturday. I'm going to be quite happy to be just able to make sure everything works as it's the Cali's and our first outing.

Not sure you got my drift. Was trying to say you can use hookup I've booked rather than leave it not used. Would like a pitch nearby so I can test my van but other than that doubt I would need it for one night.

That is truly disgusting!! I hope the culprit was not a Cali owner?

Counting up the numbers we seem to have around 30 vehicles attending so we are going to stop it at that.
If any of the people who have confirmed they will be attending or said that they may be but are now unsure, could they please let @AlisonF or I know so we are able to let others take their place.

About this time last year we took delivery of our van and the advice plus support we received one foggy day at the Lower Lode last year really started us off in a very good way. Advice from Martin, Kev and loads of others sent me off to Snowdonia 2 weeks later in the tail of the wind and rain that hit Cumbria with the confidence that I could do it.
The weather was certainly around the worst I have had in the van in the last year and the information I gained from talking to people at the Lower Lode meet was invaluable. Simon
