Pressure cookers

Anyone use an electric pressure cooker in their Cali ? I like the idea of one pot cooking and little washing up?

We use a slow cooker in the Cali, we would not be without it. We put the ingredients in it before we go out for the day and come back to the van to a scrumptious meal that's all ready and prepared. Great for winter camping.

No, but I do have a Thermal cookpot (Mr D’s). It’s fabulous. After the initial 10 mins boil/simmer put it in the thermas outer and leave it for 4 hours without power. As the stew type meals aren’t pressurised the integrity of the meat and veg is maintained and they don’t go all mushy. Great for when travelling as you can leave it behind in the awning (long trips) or transport it around.

For 50 years I’ve been an avid pressure cooker at home, but now that is second place to the thermal pot.
