Hi,
Advice on how to secure two great danes outside our awning? They are not passive pullers, except for if there is a squirrel so just need something that has hold of them just in case!
We have tried the spiral things but the ground is always too hard to get them all the way in. Any advice on other options that could work?
also heard of people tying them to the back of the Cali, confused as to what you attach them to? has anyone got a picture?

One in front on the tow hook , one on the rear tow hook . That way your Cali is fully secured and nobody will come near...:Nailbiting

Groundhook to twist in the gras and a secure anchor on the Cali if hardstanding.

Even on hardstanding there is usually a grass verge nearby. If ground is hard use the shaft of a peg mallet or something similar through the top of the groundhog to get better leverage to twist into the ground. Works for me 95% of the time

8ft climbing sling for each dog on separate “twist in “ ground anchor, ensure you thread them over the ground spike and as low as they can go..

If your pitched for the night and no way your going to drive off, thread the sling through the wheels then back clip with a carribener.

Works for my Rottie, but so does lying on the sofa with dad!
