Show us your "Two Tone" California

Hi
Glad you like Florence.
The trims were bought through a VW commercial dealer.
There are trims in the front grille, rear door and along both sides
The total including VAT was £538

I have also now fitted VW Retro look white spoke wheels with large VW chrome trims and attach a photo. I planned for it to hark back to the original type 1 and type2 and love the finished look.

Have also now had two tone grey leather on all seats.20200423_184827.jpg20200425_151202.jpg20200425_151520.jpg

Any chance of more photos of the leather seats please? We are trying to design the leather for ours and it would be useful to see what the bench seat looks like too - front seats look great :)

I designed the rear bench seat leather to look the same as the style of the front bucket seats yet still keep it as a flat bench seat for when we sleep 4 people.

The work was done by D K Schweizer in Colchester. I chose the colours (they will send you sample leather swatches) and stitching, ordered and then drove there and waited and they had it completed in half a day including seat back pockets and airbags. Very professional.

That's brilliant thanks! I am already chatting to Rob at DK Schweizer in Colchester and trying to choose the colours - this is just what I need to help - thanks again :)

Welcome.
Do tell Rob that I recommended them.
How do you like my wheels by the way?
I think they complete the Retro look

For me they are the best looking wheels on a California, harking back to the old chrome caps. Are they new wheels or were you lucky to find some used?51745D95-D3C3-4BF3-8BF0-1D2426DF6C17.png

Hey Kempy000, that is one of the best looking Calis I have seen. What size are those wheels and how much have you lowered the van? Also what’s the ride quality like? Great photos by the way.

Saw them on the original red and white special edition Transporter. tried unsuccessfully to get them..dealers said I had to have a Transporter chassis number before they could order...rubbish. Persevered and eventually got them through a CV Dealer new. Not cheap but I love them.

Mind sharing the dealer?
Are they called discus wheels?

we’re really pleased with our colour choice. I’m sure not for everyone- but I think it’s ‘fun’

thanks
Andy

@Wrinkly Ninja , Hi, those leather seats look amazing, and the way you have picked out the style from the from seats and made it look so good on the bench seat.........Top Marks!!
Just one question is the price you quoted above inclusive of head restraint coverings?
