Why has a posts for events on the same day as this been prevented from being seen ? Or replied to, Is it coincidence or censorship ?

I have reported the issue to mods but not had a response!

I have not seen this report, what thread are you referring to please?

i have resolved this now
Thank you Matt & Martin,

Was the issue as Loz suggested a hang over from the old server ? And what is the best way for members to report such issues?

Are there any pitches left please as the campsite is always on answering machine ?

I spoke to Simon on Friday and I think the whole site is now virtually full but I would still give them a call as you may be lucky.

There was someone on here trying to sell a ticket a couple of weeks ago as they were double booked for that day. You could read back up the thread a bit and see if they managed to sell it.
The main Rally Field is full, but there might be some spaces left on the site. You could try the online booking service to see if there are spaces.

I have just spoken to someone who has just booked and they tell me there are around 15 pitches left, you can book these on the website for campsite here: https://tudorcaravanpark.campmanager.com/Check-Availability/

Please note: There is a minimum of a 2 night stay, the price is approx. £50 for two nights including electric

Thanks for checking. You are very near to the Rally field and if you mentioned at the time of booking that you are with us they will put you as close as they can.

At the entrance to the campsite is the Tudor Arms pub. http://www.thetudorarms.co.uk/ we have the function room booked for Saturday evening and food will be available to purchase at the bar. http://www.thetudorarms.co.uk/dining/sample-menu/

When you arrive at the site one of us will meet you and just ask if you plan to eat there on Saturday evening so we can give them some idea of possible numbers to speed up the delivery of meals and spread demand on the kitchens.
There is a skittle alley if anyone knows the rules and how to play.

About ½ a mile up the road from the campsite is Slimbridge wildfowl trust. We were up there this afternoon.
As you can see you can feed the birds with bags of seed you can buy for £1.50 or just walk around and listen to the noise they all make. There are lots of swans splashing about, otters playing (they get fed at 11.30 and 3.00 which is worth watching). Hundreds of Flamingos who are probably the nosiest of all of them.

About 3 miles up the canal, which is a cyclepath, is Frampton on Severn. Lots of lovely pubs here including

It is a noted Camera pub and they do fabulous pies with meat, fish, vegetable or vegetarian fillings. You can download the menu from the website link.

Any one tried to negotiate a single night ?

Like most sites they don't do single nights in the high seasons I'm afraid. If you can find someone else who wants the other night, you might be able to do it, but I wouldn't bank on it. Sorry.

Yum, I remember the Shu Pie with a pint last year! :thumb

If anyone is interested in a fuel angel I have one boxed which I'll bring to Slimbridge (£20)

If anyone wants anything from the club shop, please let us know before 5pm Wednesday and we will bring your items along so you can save on delivery.

Hi everyone - can I just remind you not to arrive on Friday between 3.15pm and 4.15pm as this is school finishing time and you might get stuck behind parents picking up their children and also contribute to the daily chaos here.

Please don't arrive before 2.00 as the previous users of the field may not have left.

Many thanks

SimonB

I'm sure that's fine as I know some members did the same last year, - the more the merrier I'm sure :)
Sorry but due to a funeral taking place, we won't be able to attend.
