Was that actually Brim to Brim or Fuel Cut Off to Fuel Cut Off as different pumps can vary in their Cut Off Pressure so the amount of fuel can vary. Using the same pump at the beginning and end of a journey can mitigate this variation.

Taken as an average any cut off pressure discrepancy will be less significant.

My main observation is that on long runs the MFD appears reasonably accurate. For my day to day short trip driving in London the MFD appears less accurate.
