Thought I’d do similar Jenny, but maybe from the U.K. supplier so I can omit the vw embroidery and spec the colour. But then saw the leather re-trim posted on here recently and am thinking I might just use the factory seats until they need retrimming, and do it in leather (about twice the cost of the skins?)I bit the bullet & ordered my Second Skins from the club shop - pressed the button very quickly cringing at the price of them but done now!
Ive gone for the Brandrup exactly same material second skins as I want to keep it all original as actually really like the material in the Coast - I personally dont like leather seats, love their practicality but dont like sitting in them! I also just got my fire stick delivery today - went for the 50 second one as didnt think the 25 second long enough, really like the compactness of it & put that through the business so made a small saving there!!Thought I’d do similar Jenny, but maybe from the U.K. supplier so I can omit the vw embroidery and spec the colour. You need one of these. On Saturday afternoon I treated my 2018 Cali beach to 50 quid of petrol for her Diesel engine. She didn’t like petrol very much and had a adverse reaction. Called VW assist and a flatbed loader took her to the local dealership hospital. She spent Sunday night resting and Monday morning ( today) they pumped her out. All Ok. Collect her tomorrow. No more treats for her ! 430 quid bill , ungrateful Cali
Thanks for the link - something else to add to the list!!!You need one of these.

Ouch! Expensive lesson!!On Saturday afternoon I treated my 2018 Cali beach to 50 quid of petrol for her Diesel engine. She didn’t like petrol very much and had a adverse reaction. Yes total let off, dealership told me that if I had driven the Cali it would be a complete replacement of the fuel system and engine replacement. £8000 +£430 is a bit of a let off - Mates BMW X5 it was about 14k as BMW insisted on replacing complete fuel system, it was on a personal lease so didn't have a choice. You should never ever take it back to the dealer, they will use it as a get out of any future warranty claim.
Potholes here we come!-30mm VW lowing springs, angular side bars and front splitter
How much was your 2 year extension and I assume it was a VW one? Mine is coming up in June. Do the write to you?Expensive day today but all worth while! Paid for the 2 year warranty extension and agreed a price with a local company for supply & fitting of -30mm VW lowing springs, angular side bars and front splitter. I am hoping that along with the fitment of the 18" wheels it will satisfy me for while.
if it is the original manufacture's warranty you want then I believe that has to be taken within 3 months of the van being new. A more expensive version with less cover is available after this date. How much was your 2 year extension and I assume it was a VW one? Mine is coming up in June. Do the write to you?
Just got the m6x50 bolts. Stainless steel. Hexlox says you need a magnetic insert if bolts are stainless steel.M6 x 50mm bolt, thread 1.0.
Pan head to avoid someone trying to remove the bolt with pliers.
I used stainless bolts to avoid any rusting issues. Just make sure the bolts are threaded all the way up the shank.
4mm hex socket, so 4mm Hexlox required.
I didn’t need to even open the tailgate to remove and replace the bolts.
Certainly worth it if you’re keeping your rack on the van!
Can't understand why vehicle manufacturers don't install these devices. You need one of these.

Hexlox won’t work with stainless steel bolts. I know because I tried it as an experiment. So I got some high tensile steel bolts and they work.Just got the m6x50 bolts. Stainless steel. Hexlox says you need a magnetic insert if bolts are stainless steel.
Did you have any issue? How do they stick inside the head of the bolt?
