What have you done with your California today?

Very nice, will you be going back for the other three?

Installed worktop protectors from Ajspicer, that I bought and got back in July, haha. Should have done it earlier because I managed to get one of them scratched a week or two after I received the package.

Beautiful......

Changed bulbs (again). Now Osram Night Breaker Unlimited. Befor I had the Laser version. I‘ll try some Philipps ones as soon as these ones are over.

(Mine is a 2005 California SE with H7 lights/candles)

I can't see it very well but if you have the 'multivan style' double headlights, these bulbs can quite easy damage your reflector. Because of the higher temperature of the bulbs. A pair of NightBreakers burned the upper quarter of my reflectors so badly, I have to put in new units in the van to pass the yearly test. I seem to be a 'known problem' - the quality of the reflectors is not very high.

Thank you very much for that intel. ATM the reflector looks okay. Can you recommend other brands?

I'm now using 'normal' Osram UltraLife H7 and as you can imagine, the missing part of the reflector is not adding to the amount of light on the street. Still searching for proper projectors (not the fancy Chinese ones) or a not-OEM version that has better quality reflectors but without success yet.

No - headlight units with a projector instead of a reflector that can't stand the heat. Like this - but without the 'angel eyes'

This is how mine looks right now. And it happened after I switched to Night Breakers.

Went on second trip out with Nelle after Bridport meet to Hollies at kessingland lovely clifftop site, beautiful weather wed and thu, walked out from site, down steps onto beach and along with a high tide right up to cliffs, wet foot at one point, into Lowestoft had lunch on seafront and bus back using passes. tried out my new slow cooker with beef and ale stew which miraculously appeared like magic, just missing the ale part as I was using packet mix and thought all was included, silly me but still tasted really good, its a 1.5l excellent little pot. Just booked new years eve in wiltshire so hope the good weather holds!!

Looked at it on the drive through the window after cancelling our weekend trip due to the weather! :(

Weather is lovely now!

Raining this morning but lovely sunny afternoon so drove down to Otterspool Promenade. We went for a long walk along the banks of the Mersey, lots of yachts out on the river and a fishing competition with many anglers catching. Back to the van for a cup of tea and then home.

40ft Ash tree felled, but the big one this week, 80ft Eucalyptus. Hopefully felled into the school playing field and not the other way onto the house. The California is parked 200yds away.
Amazing how far the big industrial chippers can spray the chips, but not 200yds.:D

If it does go the wrong way could be living in the California.
