Got out the table and chairs to complete a socially distanced Covid survey in the front garden.

12 weeks, all four of us to be swab tested weekly and questioned over any social contacts under 16, 17-69 and 70+.

It's a Reliant, just had a sunny day trip to try to feel alive again. It has a home in the garage, I'm not sure why because it's the least valuable of my stable.

Herald 13/60 with a 1200 bonnet, built just over 30yrs ago. Interesting to drive in the wet.

I have neglected it for a couple of years so just bringing it back to life for my daughters wedding in the lakes next month.

That wheel and tyre combo looks great, I am looking for new wheels and tyres at the moment. Really tempted with these but I am worried about the extra noise at speed. How do you find them ?

I think it is somewhat quieter when I swap out to summer tyres rather than them being noticeably noisier when I put the AT tyres on (if that makes sense). If you drive with the windows up and no music, you can hear a hum from the tyres, adding either music or an open window and it disappears into the background. I wasn’t planning on keeping them on all the time as I was expecting too many compromises, but I’ve found there to be few, so they’re staying on.

We're on the 12 month study too. Bloods and swabs week 1. Weekly swabs til week 4. Bloods and swabs again in week 5, then monthly swabs for rest of the year.

Only shame is that you don't get told the blood results which would indicate historic infection.

Driving home after a great few weeks in the Scottish Borders and the Isle of Arran Due to go to stay at 3 Cliffs Bay next Sunday but can’t see that happening now as radio is saying 60% of Wales is going into lockdown

Holiday parks turning people away in droves as very few guests able to stay

Social distancing was non existent amongst the visitors and it was hard to avoid people being in your face. It all seemed either, “yeah, whatever” or “two fingers up”. We headed back to the coastal area and stayed in the fresh air.

You are correct, just had an email from 3 Cliffs, they are devastated got to cancel bookings as from tomorrow. This was our 2nd attempt to stay here, seems it’s not to be. Ah well hopefully next year.

Love Pembrokeshire, not been since April 2019.
We would have done the same tbh we avoid towns and people anyway, we aren’t anti social we just prefer the solitude and tranquility of the ‘great outdoors’.

I admire your effort @Auberg-ine but I'm afraid I adhere to the KISS principle. Agree with Welsh Gas. When I set off for a trip around Morocco April/May 2017 I took a kettle, pan, cup, cutlery and a sleeping bag. Got supplies on a day to day basis.
