UK Edition California price is below:

For the Beach, it equates to £7086 of options for an additional £5040. Excluding all of Edition detailing and the 3 bar chrome grille.

Awaiting more details but I'm very tempted!

I've been told the dealers are getting an initial uk stock allocation of 80no, all candy white, Editions in the coming few weeks.

It seems a bit unclear if it is possible to factory order to your own spec or colour Edition at the moment.

I've been to that the earliest build week is 33/34 and +6 weeks for DSG.

Yeah, the lack of Heated Seats and internal LED lighting is putting me off.

It also looks like the Beaches are not available with the parking heater.

Don't forget your dealer may be generous with discounts on options so the saving may not be as great as first appears. However if the Edition fitted options are the ones you want the special editions will probably hold a premium over standard models on resale.

Maybe different in the uk but my Beach Edition was spec”d with quite a few add ons such as heater etc. (I took a stock/inventory vehicle) Looks like you can pretty much add what you want just like any other Cali, in Euroland.

They´ve been available since 2013 in germany.

They have not been released yet in the UK. I've been told it will be in the next couple of weeks.

Saw a white one if these on a transporter being delivered to Clark Commercials in Aberdeen earlier today. Looked very nice.

The Berghaus if I remember correctly wasn’t a factory VW special edition, it was a standard Cali that got delivered to the UK, once it arrived the wheels were swapped and some after market extras were added, much like like the transporter ‘Sportlines’.

The Edition seems to be an official factory produced Cali, on the German Configurator you can add extras / configure it how you like.

Lancashire VW Van centre have a white Beach Edition and white Ocean Edition arriving in the next 2 weeks. They are coming with some extras fitted like awning, cruise etc. Dealer did mention limited numbers of around 70-80.
BTW the Ocean Edition is only available with 204DSG option.

Lack of Adaptive Cruise control make these a no go for me, shame if you can’t factory order them. Also would have preferred the Grey colour.

So Candy White, Grape Yellow & Cherry Red are UK Colour options.

Shame seats are only available in Moonrock not Titanium which imho would suit a white Van better.

Adaptive CC not an option for Edition see the PDF for whats got a price next to it all other with just a dash Dash is not available to order.

Beach only 150ps and Ocean only 204ps.

Always loved the look of the Edition models and would have liked the option to get one when I ordered (currently waiting for pick up of my new new van).

But no option for a factory fit parking heater on the Beach would have been a deal breaker for me.

Currently trying to decide between a two tone respray/wrap on my Candy White or going for decals to get the Edition look.

I'd go that way....looks like they'll be a bunch of wannabe Beach owners who need a parking heater, so you'll be in a good place when it comes time to resell.
