HELP! All four 12V sockets in rear not working

This is just disgracefull. I have no words (and certainly no English) for this.

I should have suggested that you took the van back when they had rush hour, and make a whole scene for every customer to hear about how they treat vehicles. But it seems you have already kind of sorted it.

I would carefully check the whole van, and every single piece with damage not caused by you, should be replaced.

One good point: they did find the cause of the non-working 12V sockets. But that's all.
This would be the last time I went to that "service" center.
I don't know if there are any other VW centers near your place, but I think you already said no in some earlier post?

All the VW commercial van centres in east of scotland are Clark Commercials as dar as I am aware (aberdeen, dundee, kirkcaldy and Edinburgh)... it’s very depressing...

I wonder if Alan Sugar gets the same treatment when he gets his fleet of "Apprentice Carravelles" serviced?

Seeing that it makes me wonder if VW should consolidate their authorised California service centres to about half a dozen regional garages with competent expertise.

How can they possibly hand a van back in that state!?

Can only hope the same muppets arent doing the valet.
I’m starting to wonder if it’s being done on purpose, so also hoping the valet goes ok. I’m feeling sick just wondering what I’ll find when it gets delivered back later...

That's all shocking Alison... I took a test drive at Clark Aberdeen - we knew more than their sales staff when asking questions and their deal was not good at all. We rang Lancashire VW and ordered there, fantastic deal and service. Your story reinforces us to not go there for anything.
I have heard good things about the dealership in Dundee, for aftersales at least... We will travel back South with ours for servicing.

I think Dundee is also Clark Commercials - but will depend very much on the individuals I expect.

So the Silver Dream Machine is home. Electrics all tested and functioning fine. I even hooked up the trailer to check lights, reversing camera, etc. It has had a courtesy full valet inside and out and looking pristine. I almost daren’t put the dog crates back inside to go to agility training... haha
Mileage in tank looks 100m less than I expected, but hopefully just due to my drive been on a slope. They have said to let them know once I’ve driven on the flat and the level indicator settles.
What a week! Great support from the forum, as always. Much appreciated. Thank you all.

I hope everything stays fine now with the California.
Then just try not to think about it anymore, and do a few trips to clear your mind and test the van!
