Does anyone remove their awning in the winter months ?

Also, you can't access the securing bolts that hold the awning to the brackets with the awing wound in. You need to wind it out to be able to access and loosen those bolts. In the video the chap removes the awning from the brackets first after unwinding the awning. This seems to make sense to me as it makes removing the brackets much easier with less chance of dropping the heavy awning. Worth a watch of the video.

I read in your post: "it makes it easier", where I meant to say: "there is no other way to get it done".Yup said that
I read the above question as ´Can I remove it with brackets right away?Any answer to above question
