I thought all Californias, regardless of which market they are destined for, had the sliding door on the RH side (UK offside)?? As Motacyclist and Andy say the photo has been 'flipped'. If you view the photo in a mirror everything is sound, including the index plate. Thanks.

I believe what dictates that the sliding door will be on the RH side is the habitation unit. To my knowledge, VW don't make a habitation unit for the RH of the interior of the California Ocean/SE. Thanks.

Something not quite right with the photo of the van with the red bellows, is the sliding door on the LH side (UK near side)?? Puzzling

Until you zoom in on the reg number... The picture's been flipped...

Personally I think it looks better with the grey bellows, the red distracts the eye from the cool colour combination of the van.

Look at the licens plate, it is a mirrow picture.

Red, without a doubt.if only that option had been available when I ordered mine! Way too late to change now. Are the wheels included in the extra cost of the two tone paint or do you pay extra for those as well?

If you go for the red/white Cali: go all the way and choose the red canvas!

Bought you Cali at "Van Hoe"? (as we did).
Anyway, welcome and greetings from West-Vlaanderen.

Thanks Erwin for the comment! In the meantime the van is ordered with the red bellow! We have changed the order.. ;)

Didn't know about Van Hoe, I think he's not on the VW website, but looks he is a specialist in California...
We ordered at NAM gent, they had an ocean in the shoowroom and saw +/- 10 cali's at the parking lot (new and repairs) , so gave us some confidence.
greets from O-vl :)

Welcome on your first post.

Hi Hotel California,
this is not the right place, but yesterday I saw a post of you with technical pictures from a cali with some tips/trics. Can't find this anymore, can you help?
