Extended warranty

I have a 2020 California Ocean with extended warranty until 2027 at a not inconsiderate cost. Just been advised that the crankshaft oil seal has gone and needs replacing (£977) , apparently not covered under warranty as are any leeks or seals not covered . The warranty costs a lot and I am wondering what it actually covers , just be wary what is covered and what isnt

In the overall cost of the plan with 2 x Services = £500, 2 yrs VW Assistance £280 and 2 x MOTs = £100, the cost of the Warranty is a small proportion and it does mention the exclusions in the Ts & Cs.
Owners on here and the T6 forum have had some big claims paid BUT not for the excluded items, commonly Crank seals etc.
It is not the same Warranty as the 3 Yr new vehicle Warranty which has no such exclusions.
