Loud clonk over certain bumps

Thanks for the confirmation Hubert.

Is a BMW with four wheels twice as real? Mines not bad :D

Stu and Hubert

I've put some split tubing in place and the noise has gone.

Many thanks.

Andrew

Hope the weekend is going well.

I bought some reinforced plastic hose, cut to fit and split lengthwise and pushed over the metal pivot.
It's the forward hinge of the scissor mechanism.

I think the best thing is to take it back to the dealer and say "fix it".

It is a brand new vehicle. It is not right.

Albert is getting on a bit and is imploding into rattles and squeaks. He is being emptied when I get home at the weekend and I'm going to the dealer and saying just that.... "sort it ...please".

GJ hopefully not SMG Cowfold as mine is in for a new a/c compressor and a constant rattle from the small draw I ordered so that I couldn't find a convenient space for the Thule ramps and the Flamia rafter. Heinz cup a soups are way more important.

thx for the info and pictures. i will check with the dealer also.
