New Engine required Cali 2011

Hi all we are in the common place of owning a 2011 Cali and the best option is a new engine . We are struggling to find garages that have time space to do it. So wondered does anybody recommend any garages ? We are based I. Bingley Bradford - have contacted Vw at Leeds frustratingly not even a reply ! Happy to travel a bit for a good mechanic . Our current mechanic has been brill but is a small garage and as he admits it will take a while to get the garage space needed .

Yes a long way from you but best to have a garage that does them regularly.

Bognor motors have an excellent reputation.

You could get a quotes for vehicle transport using Shiply; We have used the site in the past for car transport & a full house move:

Similar situation with a 180 (2011 and 107 k miles). Currently vw dealer pricing for new engine. Keen for any alternative garages who do this in central scotland. Thanks!

Update *******. Engine replaced our local garage took pity and done it . Engine was replaced +£4000 . Ouch but we are on the road again !

TPS were the supplier . It’s a t5.1 Cali 2011.
