Hi! Yes we have had great weather so far and last night we had a spectacular sunset at approx 23:15 as you can see here!

It’s clear to me that wild camping is OK on Lofoton, I think it was a case of over enthusiastic interpretation of the attached.

We arrived late on the Lofoten and spent the first night in the car park at À. Not ideal but at least you can get your head down without traveling far from the ferry.

Yes we arrived late 22:00 and took pot luck after following very slow German. Our spot as seen above turned out to be just fine. This is were we are tonight.

Not strictly on topic but a link to Gent who ran the rustic site that started this tread. He was drunk. As a skunk!
We tried to buy some cider today (can’t afford the wine!). Eek! We were made to feel like drug addicts! Uh, we don’t sell alcohol after six o’clock said the checkout clerk. There was a queue of folks behind us. We replied, “we didn’t know that we said”. Oh the shame - you could almost hear the tutting. The clerk took the offending items of the conveyer belt. Oh the agony!!!
Apparently no alcohol sales after six on Saturdays and not after eight o’clock on other days.
Heyho, Denmark, not long to wait @Kmann eh?
