Self Contained...?

Does anyone know when a campsite or location insists you are fully self contained as a camper, I assume that means you have a toilet on board, I assume a Thetford meets the criteria but question is does a Popaloo or equivalent?

Generally means as a camper you are fully self sufficient for both toilet and shower, including disposal. There would generally be no facilities on site to shower, wash, toilet or dispose or waste, grey or otherwise. Effectively like Britstops at the back of a pub.

Some camp sites without facilities specifically say if you don't have an onboard toilet, you must have chemical toilet and some actually check (Camping In The New Forest, Setthorns is one example). I am not sure how the popaloo is considered in that case.
