Now off for the weekend :thumb:thumb

I've only just got around to reading all this information. You've clearly had to put much effort into organising this and keeping us so well informed. Thank you.

We are going to be arriving on Thursday afternoon/evening and feasting on fish and chips. Anyone care to join us with tables in a line will be very welcome.

Couldn't wait so we've just booked from Tuesday! Very relaxed site, told us just to turn up and we'll sort out payment on arrival.

I don't seem to have had the pack, could you send me the link via PM? Thanks

Couple of last minute updates for Tenby Meet:

The bar on site is closed on Thursday and open on Friday and Saturday (with music on Saturday). The nearest pub is the New Hedges Tavern is 150 yds away with happy hour 6-7 and also World Cup TV for those interested :(

The Fish and Chip van is 50 yds away from site and opens at 6pm each day and next to that is an excellent farm shop with fresh fruit and veg, milk, biscuits and Caldey Island chocolate etc, (Photo below)

Checked the field today and all looking good, grass short and ground firm and flat(ish) Here's a photo of Tenby yesterday afternoon :)

I've sent you a pm with link. I know the field is in use today by another rally (and maybe tomorrow). I intend marking out the pitches on Thursday morning in order to make sure everyone fits in with sufficient room.

Tenby Update

Couple of members now wish to arrive early - rally field is now free from tomorrow lunchtime - Wednesday. I will therefore set-up and lay out pitch markers tomorrow morning. If anyone who has booked wants to come early then please let me know. Additional fee can be sorted on arrival.

Weather still looking good :)

Question for me but might be useful for others.... What is the bike ride like to Sainsbury's for supplies? Just wondering if bringing my bike will save a few unhooks from the drive away awning, but I'm not great on hills!

Answer - very steep hill on the way back. About 1 mile, the Multi Storey Car Park at Sainsbury's takes a T5 T6 without roof racks etc. (Bays are NARROW) Alternatively there is a small supermarket called McColls across the road from the campsite albeit more expensive than Sainsbury's.

The Rally Field is now marked out and good news is that we've been able to allocate about 30' wide per pitch together with a small gathering tent in the centre of the field.

The parking layout is similar to this photo but with less vans

Excellent stuff!
I think that we might need a bigger gathering tent :) I have a shelter thing I bought from Lidl - haven't tried it yet but would you like me to bring it too? It isn't very big folded down so no problems getting it in the boot. I might need some help putting it up because a) I am hopeless with tents and b) it says it needs two people.

That tent is bigger than it looks!! I have access to 4 of them but humping one in and out of my lovely van was enough!!!!!!!! :(

We will bring a Club Flag (need to take with us on Sunday as it is on its way to Denmark meet in September).
Hope to be with you between 1 and 2, travelling from the Midlands.
See you then.:)

I'm sure this information is in a post somewhere here. I'm just being very lazy! :embarrased
Are the pitches with EHU or not?:embarrased:embarrased

Excellent thank you. See you between 3 and 4 then - Traffic from M4 and via Carmarthen on a Friday can be a challenge!!!

No EHU sorry. There are plans to get the field connected but the farmer is still awaiting the company to install.
