Not bad for that distance. Lots of travelling and no stopping?Changed my wheels to summer mode, and had a look at my first set of brake pads at the front after 145000km.

That boy don't stop for no one.Lots of travelling and no stopping?
Daily driver, 12km up, 12 down. 3x Route Napoléon from Grenoble to Gap. That is firstly 6 km 12% upwards. Then quite flat for a couple of kms, then 60 km downwards with parts of 12%. 3x Switzerland. 7x A75 Clermont-Ferrand - Béziers and back. You can tell I need to stop sometimes. Not bad for that distance. Lots of travelling and no stopping?
Thanks @Damien - I had been focusing on maximizing bag capacity but you raise a good point about the balance of human space when in bed modeI considered the VanEssa bags but thought the stepped design might stick out too far at the back and be a bit claustrophobic when I was sleeping.
These don’t stick out much further than the window recess.
Thoroughly cleaned the Cadac Safari, ordered a pizza stone and a flat griddle....
The aluminium is a sheet of dimpled foil with stitched material surrounding the edge. It’s flexible and attaches to the hard frame on the back of the window bag with four Velcro fasteners at each corner. You have choice then about whether to attach it or not.Hi Damen, what is the difference between the 2 options, i.e with or without aliminium? Also how Rashid the bag to fit? Many thanks
I'm wondering, do they block a lot of light from coming into the van?New window bags for my Ocean from Thais.
Very happy with them!View attachment 58547View attachment 58548
They do block the light, but I have always kept the blind closed over that window anyway - something about the symmetry in the back!I'm wondering, do they block a lot of light from coming into the van?
For what it costs, I'm glad I have the option of using it. It's not the best look from the outside IMHO, but might stop items in the bags warming up quite so much if there's direct sunlight hitting the window.
Cleaned the bird sh%t off it again.
Daily occurrence at the moment wish someone would invent nappies for the little sods.Me too
Hia, what alloys are those ?
Filled water.
Actually, filled water to test out a contraption to make filling water easier.
- Purchased a magnet off amazon
- Wrapped in felt cloth and made a covering
- Attached the magnet to the funnel handle
- Now the funnel stays in place when filling water and makes it much easier
