@Prycey13 i saw a Vanmoof in Holland last year and was well impressed. Looks very decent.
Would make a great commuting bike...

My local bike shop said his business is doing very well over the last few weeks. Loads of people after bikes and all his sub £500 stock has been snapped up. He has stock on the way, but loads of follows with people looking for bikes.
It’s great, I hope it continues and more people get into biking...

Seeing so much new lycra around at present, lovely to see. Also lots of new trainers, my regular running route along the beach greensward is getting a groove worn in it. I think it's brilliant. People taking care of themselves.

Perhaps some positives to take from all this.
Milan has some ambitious plans post C19...

So then, @soulstyledevon .....what is the verdict on this now it’s been a few weeks? :)
Absolutely loves it.
Genuinely, she’s smiling whilst riding...;)
A 26km route before e-purchase was taking her 1hr 40 mins.
We managed to complete it on her e-bike last Sunday and me carrying my 4 year old on my conventional bike in 1hr 10mins.

Therefore much quicker and she still feels like she had a decent workout.

Wish we had bought it sooner...:thumb

Glad to hear that. Sounds like a win/win for you both.

So what happens when you’re doing that route slower than your wife? :D:D

It’s getting a bit annoying when she turbos the hills and I have 3 stone plus over the rear wheel...
But i take her on the flat and downhill sections...;)

You could get a fold up Brompton with an aftermarket electric kit for that budget, giving you the best of many worlds!

Gone Vanmoof X3 with front carrier, I know it’s crazy given I race bikes at elite level but I’d rather commute at a cruise and just see it as swapping the tube out for a bike, I do the hard yards elsewhere but these new ebikes sucked me in

Ive got a bit of bike envy at the moment...
Ebikes are great for light touring and commuting.
I rode over to Coventry today to drop a present off and would have liked a less sweaty ride...

Yeah I'm towing H around in his Thule all the time now, so thought sod it, it a nice way to make easy progress and not get in the way of my training, which should be either really easy or really hard.

You think they could build a cycle path alongside it.
Nah, apparently to expensive.
Whats another billion in the grand scheme...

Magical moving budgets.
They started at £36b now in excess of £100b...
That’s a big increase in 10 years, with another 10 years to run...
Hmmm

I know this question has been asked before but since then technology has improved, new brands are on the market and prices have come down.

I have £1,500-£2,000 to spend on a E Bike , ideally looking for something that I can use on both the road and tracks, there looks to be some good deals around on 2019 models at moment but I have no idea where to start
Moustache make sublime e bikes. By a second hand one or new you won't regret.
