I think the methods used and the formulas for calculating changed over the last 20 years or so. So this is not like for like.

$7/liter even on a commercial scale. Thats $560 to fill up an 80L Cali....... Ouch.

A family hatchback needs to be 5 door, unless it’s a Gti. Which this is most definitely not.

I think it is 5 door. If it comes in anywhere near that price it will be a gamechanger

The BYD Atto 3 is making a good shout for itself. Strong Chinese battery and BEV company (they make all your electric buses and 20% of the cell phone batteries). Nice design cues, without going crazy, patented battery tech. Price is a bit strong but that is probably due to the sector at which its aimed.

Definitely a 5 door hatchback. No exposed rear handles. 450km range, 226hp, under €25k. Whats not to love.

That’s the ugliest car I’ve seen in a while. Perhaps it looks better when on the road.

Also big. Car designers always conveniently forget that when out and about, we have to park in standard sized car parking spaces. If they’re going to keep making bigger cars, a sliding door would be good.
