I think it is 5 door. If it comes in anywhere near that price it will be a gamechangerA family hatchback needs to be 5 door, unless it’s a Gti. Which this is most definitely not.

I’d hold off buying one until this hits the showroom, although the price will probably be astronomical.

And yet, with EVs having by now generated a bunch of reasonably good actuarial data for insurance companies, EVs are not overall especially more expensive to insure than their ICE counterparts.Not to mention the increasing insurance premiums to cover such huge loses.

(If cars had just been invented the Telegraph would no doubt be writing articles citing "industry insiders" about how much more expensive it's going to be to replace all those expensive tyres, compared with forging horseshoes.)
