Worktops Glass , Cooker / Fridge

No matter what clean glass surfaces with , there are mist stains , blotches and marks within the glass as if its ingrained in the glass itself ???
More pronounced when lids are up .

Has anyone else with a ocean 6.1 got this same problem ??
Or is this yet another fault , or do i have faulty glass ??

Same issue. I bought some brushed aluminium stick on panels from eBay.

Ongeacht hoe schoon de glazen oppervlakken zijn, er blijven mistvlekken, vlekken en vlekken in het glas achter, alsof het in het glas zelf zit.
Meer uitgesproken wanneer de oogleden omhoog zijn.

Heeft iemand anders met een Ocean 6.1 hetzelfde probleem?
Of is dit weer een fout, of heb ik defect glas?

Bij mij hoort het zelfde geen defect zo te zijn

Is that anything , inside the california , that's not cheap , tacky plastic and brittle ???
Just waiting break or not work !!!!
Yes I had the upper bed plastic shock absorber arms break at rear as well , when raised upper bed .
Volksagen now changed to metal brackets now !!
Surely common sense, would dictated this from the start ??
For anyone who has original plastic hinges , there just waiting to snap off at any time , another safety hazard, if lands on child's head

Iv posted my views on california Facebook group , volkswagen need to address the quality of the ocean interior , before the upper roof comes crashing down on someone's head .
I urge all owners of ocean with plastic hinges , supporting a very heavy bed to contact volkswagen ASAP

If glass and hinges has be changed over cooker and sink , can this be done , without changing complete units ?
Looks though hinges are riveted ,
Has anyone had just glass worktops changed on there California ?

I’d like to know this too - the glass in the lid above my hob has come loose in the metal at the back and is wobbling around which feels unsafe. Just waiting till I have time to go to dealers …

Just over 2 years - cooker doesn’t get used on every trip so the lid has not been very robust! Hope yours gets sorted.

From my research the glass used in cali cooker an sink lids .
Can either be Laminated or Toughened glass , only one or other , cannot be both .

Laminated glass is 2 x outer pieces glass with a Vinyl middle piece .

Toughened glass is one solid piece of glass .

Says only way tell is by British standard code stamped on glass .

BSEN14449 Laminated
BSEN12150 Toughened .

Laminated glass holds together does not shatter , less suited heat changes .
Toughened glass , better suited to heat changes .

Not got my van at moment , can anyone check what is stamped on cali T6.1 please

Did they put complete new glass in ??
Did you have any bubbles within the glass ??

No the glass itself was fine, it had just come loose within the hinge mechanism- but they are apparently one part so the whole lid over the cooker was replaced.
