I've just had the same call, Kerrie I think it was. Told me she had just spoken to someone, that was you then. Same information and would call me on her return from holiday in a fortnight.VW just rang with their 2 week curtacy call. She said at this stage they will not provide a letter for me to send to DVLA as their investigation in to the issue is still taking place by "Higher Managers" . I asked if they had given the dealers the wrong codes for registering Oceans and Beach's hence the problem, she repeated that she could not comment while the investigation is taking place but will ring me again in 2 weeks.
Apprantly she cant issue a letter as the situation is more complicated than it would seem.
