Camping Room with Windows (and slidepod)

Like this you mean

The other easy way is like this. Figure of eight clipped onto the edge of the awning.

Yes, that's the one, and the Figure of Eight clipped to the edge looks really simple. Must go and try that. Thanks.

+1 for Comfortz awning sides, as stated above the big selling point for us was storage when not in use and ease of putting it up, also we sometimes just put one side up just for privacy.
Plus one here too. Comfort camping room is great. Extra space (cooking, porta-toilet, muddy boots etc.) plus privacy when needed. Packs down small.

My camping room thingy that I was enquiring about on this thread has arrived (ordered on this website), turned up promptly and a good quality piece of kit, very well constructed, flexible and would recommend it. My wife is also very pleased as she now has somewhere to go to use her she-wee private in the middle of the night!.... eh hem.

Stuck the slidepod back in the van today (took it out to lug a load of PA and drums to a gig last week). Slidepod is very well constructed piece of clobber and I have resolved the fact that it takes up most of the boot by whacking on the Thule roof bars (that also arrived promptly from this website) and slinging my thule box up top. When empty the roof stays up... hooray! When Thule box is full the roof is in need of viagra but not really a problem as the stuff in it is the stuff I'll need when I pop the top up.

So....Job done... full width beach bed, slidepod fitted kitchen in the back, all the clutter in a box on the roof and a place to pee in the middle of the night! All I need now is a spare wheel but that is another post.

Thought I'd share a picture of the replacement water tank I got to use with my slide pod... same capacity but much slimmer... 16cms instead of 26 and means can slide the seat back and have more space inside. Image attached... recommend it for anyone who has a slide pod but does not want to lose quite so much space due to the water tank.

Johny.. if you read these things, worth shipping a few in as much better than the blue blobs which don't live up the the fine quality of you excellently constructed slide pods.

I'm going to replace mine with a smaller thinner one but that looks ideal as it has the same capacity where did you get it?

Hi.... from this website:

http://www.tanks-direct.co.uk/

The product description was:

30 Litre Water Tank - Upright (TAN30UNA4V)

I made the mistake of cutting the hose off the original tank and trying to push it onto a brand new nozzle, whereas I think could probably have simply unscrewed and transferred the existing end nozzly thingy from the old tank.
