We arrived at about 5.30 all set up for our first night in our Cali.

Now it’s time for a few beers.

So, 15 booked and we ended up with 26 Cali's turn up including this unique one....

I'm home and getting warm again!

Lovely to meet all the people I did meet and sorry to have missed talking to some of you - I had to go as I was getting cold and seizing up!

We were very lucky with the weather if you don't count the bit with the hailstones......

I took a few pictures and will try to post them here.

Bobbi

was nice to meet you Bobbi, you did the right thing it is freezing up here at the campsite.

If the owner of the pink van and the two gorgeous dogs would like to make herself known to me, I'll pass on the info I was going to give her!

Looks a nice little turn out for the time of year. good effort, couldn't make this one myself but look forward to meeting you all sometime soon.

Thanks Martin for arranging this - really enjoyed our first sleep-over in the new van and meeting everyone both at the car park and campsite.

Will look forward Tenby next year...

Nice photo of us at Highlands site.........something not right here.....

Anyway, it was a Glorious Morning!!

How about another overnight meet down here ?
It was Great to meet everyone at West Bay, and camp over, but seemed to fly by quickly.
It was my first night in a payed site in the uk in two years....the views , for about 50 miles along the coast, was worth it.

I was wondering. The car park on Exmouht beach is about to ban overnight camping. Due partly to the bad habits of motorhomes users
How about we have a meet up , one week end, not to far in the future, on that beach
If we kept it informal, and decided at fairly short notice, watching the weather.
Anybody else up for this??

We were planning on going again to Highlands very soon, we could not stay too long on Saturday as we needed to be back to collect our grandson from his school trip.

I was talking to Highlands today as they will happily take us back as an official rally where we will have our own area. There is also a chance we can use their function room if required.

We are just trying to sort out some dates as we have quite a lot of meets in the pipeline for next year.

I'd like to do that - it's a wonderful place to wake up! But there isn't a lot of 'near future' before Christmas...

It would be difficult keeping us all together somewhere like that and I am not sure I would like being somewhere with all the louts hanging around there at night, not to mention the boy racers that frequent the seafront.

Time races by doesnt it.....i seem to have less time now than before i retired.
I dont know how folks are for a mid weeker...it will be much quieter.there only needs to be a few of us to make it interesting ...i get a bit overwhelmed at big meetings.
I would feel safe there, and i am sure we could find space toghether for 4 or 5 vans...like the might of the 20/21 dec....
I am not a fan of all the comercialism around Christmas, glad to get away from it all

As i'm only just down the road I would pop in but not stay.
