Hi Perfectos,
Yes erWin is paid subscription, but you can buy by the hour if you wish, however having found comments on other forums as to difficulties with finding the required subject matter, and not seeing TPI's on the home page I have, for the time being, left erWin.
I will certainly ask the dealership if they will copy me the mentioned TPI, but I got the feeling that they did not wish to divulge the contents to me in my recent conversations. That may be due to the fact that the individual with whom I was speaking was not sure what information he could share with me, or it could just be that they have not previously undertaken all advised procedures within that TPI?
Sadly 'Sunstoner' it appears that those reporting on this issue of us on this forum seem to experience a protracted, several visits to workshops, experience. The first visit for our van was January of this year, (although I do accept Covi-19 held up the proceedings earlier this year).
My advice would be to photograph not only the rear wheel arch area, but also inside the door frame of the sliding door and the internal frame of the actual door, mine came back with paint chips to both where I am guessing the door and frame came into contact whilst they 'adjusted' the door. Small chips I accept, but on a vehicle that cost us over £50K, with less than 5K miles I was disappointed. I have touched the chips up (at my expense), but will be aware for this next visit!
As I said to the engineer at my local VW workshop, "I try to look on the bright side - there are some who are spending over £70K on their vehicle and experience the same issue!"
