Thank you
I'm now just trying to brighten up the inside. My "wolftip" sheepskin rug looks fabulous on the wood effect floor.
OoohHH.... The floor.... Photos please, or have I missed them somewhere?
Thank you

Looks good, I guess we have Mercedes to thank for that.
Nice tweaks vw are finally making.
Keep us all posted on how hardwearing it is, compared to the old one.
I always chuck my keys in there when I lock the front door. t6 beach uncomfortable dash.I think I still have that space, mine being an actual T6 panel van 'an all. Will look. Never worked out what to do with it...
Totally agree. Your experience and appraisal is of benefit to us all. I must admit I just love my T6 and do not think the MP is better built just more glamorous. As for cubby holes you will adjust and become even more comfortable. Your Cali looks fab.
Surely Alfie was neither drab or downcast. I only have a 150 Mojave Beige but with its leather seats and stainless steel worktops and other add ons I think its perfect and I much prefer the outside looks and contours of the Cali.
As for Alfie I think the two tone looks great and your explanation of the practicality of the Cali sums it up perfectly. Hope you are OK.
GJ what became of Albert? Would have been interested as I need to get an automatic due to the thumb arthritis!
Congrats to you. You are living your life through this Cali and it shows. Keep comments coming.
There is a creditcard holder inside the the phone compartment, underside of the top, you can feel it with your hands.
I use it to store some emergency money hidden away.
Tip: go to a truck fuel stop and fill up ad blue there from the pump, makes you feel even more utalirian and its cheaper and easier ti fill up than using bottles from the dealer.
Gracie needed her first adblue top up this weekend and a friend had told us about the pump at our local station, saved us quite a few pennies!Congrats to you. You are living your life through this Cali and it shows. Keep comments coming.

We agree with you GrannyJen, we had a look at the MP at the Motorhome show and were willing to be impressed (only a peek as we love Gracie)..and can only reiterate what you have so elequently written. For us it was the complete lack of storage and left us lacking in confidence that it would look after us on an adventure.I can't really fathom what it is about the MP. A gorgeous vehicle, in so many ways beautifully put together, but it just does not inspire confidence in me.
I have just been to hospital for a steroid injection and lo and behold, in the car park, next to Alfie, was a MP. The driver was in it so we chatted. Again, I looked at Alfie, drab and downcast in comparison, but then looked inside the MP and all of a sudden Alfie looked the part, a camper of purpose, a squat, rugged, "take me anywhere and everywhere" look of total confidence.
He also asked me did I have a heater. "Of course, who wants to go camping in this weather without one" said miss smug-boots. "Not got one" he said and I wanted to cry for him. All that bloody money and bling and it's either only camp where it's warm or where theres a big ampage hook-up to run an electric heater. Again, Alfie just looked fit for purpose, "I don't know where we are going but wherever it is, trust me, I will look after you".
Adblue pumps are being added to car filling station forecourts when a refurb. is taking place. Shell are rolling them out, separate pump on its own usually, just keep a look out at your usual fuel filling points.Thank you for the tip about the credit card holder. I will find it as soon as I get up. "(I''ve been woken up by pain and just waiting for the painkillers to kick in and hopefully going back to sleep afterwards"...)
Definitely need to find an adblu truck stop .... Alfie's sort of place
GrannyJen, had the great pleasure of meeting Albert today. He’s going to have wonderful new adventures with lovely people!
True friend indeed. It was the first “meet” we have attended, lovely to put faces to names, lovely afternoon, perhaps meet at a future event and we can meet Alfie!?Thank you xx
So sorry I was not there, sadly being a convalescent hero for a friend in need
I think of adding the wooden flooring. How is it to clean and is it slippery when wet? Does it get a lot of scratches?
I would be most thankful for some real life experience.
