What have you done with your California today?

Do you have a copy of the shelf dimensions you could share? We don’t have our Cali yet but plan on making some shelves similar to yours.
Your details say you have a T6 but you say you have a Cali on order, so I assume the shelves will be for a T6.1? On the website where people buy the aluminium version from, they have different sizes for the T6.1, so the dimensions used by @Bryan2411 will probably not be suitable?

Yes, 6.1 on order so I guess the dimensions will be different. I’ll just wait till it arrives and measure then…

Just to confirm T6.1 dimensions & the shape is different. Earlier vans have Tambour doors that slide round infront of the cupboards rear wall. T6.1 have a solid slider that doesn't encroach.

School is a polling station so took off to Richmond Park with the bikes on the back of the van. Lovely sunny picnic and lots of deer everywhere.

This is in that area:

I think you can take bikes on the Thames Clipper to get there, so if you live close enough to the River.

Parked on the top floor of a Spanish supermarket car park. Most people drive around looking for spaces on the lower floors. I have never seem more than 4 vehicles up here. A great place to arrange the packing in the van ready for our journey back to the UK. Trying to pack in our underground garage is not so easy as as soon as I get the van out of the garage someone wants to drive pass in the communal road way in front of it. Also due to recent large amounts of rain it is a bit damp in the communal road ways from the high water table.

Visit to shops also enabled stocking up on wine, beer, gin, brandy jars of chickpeas, paella spices, tin sardines and olive oil. Tried to visit Lidi on way back to garage but car park full so maybe tomorrow so as to get tonic water that does not have aspartame.

A bit ironic that we are going back to the UK after being in Spain since early March and having 35 days of rain in that time as it is now it is 25c and sunny.

Can you put pictures on when you get it back?

Well that was a fun few hours. No bits left over, though.

Looks brilliant!
I assume those rivets worked fine?
Looking forward to getting mine back!

Yes the 6.4x18 rivets were perfect. Better than my cheap Chinese riveter which I spent 20 minutes reassembling

Put grey camo seat covers on my front seats. Much better than solid black.

Totally recommend Turtle Covers, lovely company. Great customer service.

Booked a service and cambelt change. With only 6k on the clock I suspect it’s in good shape but my time window is closing….

Only issue is the elastic strap can catch in the swivel. Fixed it with tape for now. Easy on & off, very pleased. Suitable for airbags, which is why I had to change from my T6 ones.
