California Club Meet Club Meet - Warren Farm, Brean Sands - This Weekend

Lovely photos - thank you. Thanks also, to those involved in organising this meet - we had a great time and met lovely people (and dogs) - Ziggy enjoyed meeting people and dogs and was reluctant to get in van to come home - thanks to all again.

En route home having spent all afternoon on the beach with @Brywy and Chris . Decided it was best to go home at 6pm :(
Thank you to Simon , Kev and Martin for another great meet , and lovely to meet old and new faces .

Just popped in on the Saturday whilst heading elsewhere. Sorry about bringing the rain but we did take it away with us. As always good to put some faces to names. Thanks to those who provided shelter, coffee and beer and especially Simon for organising the event.

Our first Cali event - really enjoyed it. Great to put a few faces to names - too many names to remember in the end actually. Got some great tips especially about the good old Vango DA awnings. We will get there! @Maggs where did you get that dog - always asleep in your arms! @Grey one all your running up brean down put all to shame - must get my running shoes out again (I actually did the The Great North Run a few years ago - 2hrs 19mins.....). @Loz , sorry our introduction was cut a little short but a rebuilt engine issue was far more important than anything about generalities! @briwy , sorry to have missed you and your drones on Sunday morning - I did see them but was preoccupied with awning matters etc. Hope I can take your offer up another time.
The admin team @Martin ,@SimonB , @Calikev - thanks for the organising and great to meet you all too. Simon, love your passion about railways in Wales!

I know I have missed a few folks off here (sorry for that) but as you can tell we were are a little over awed. Still so excited about having our Cali and meeting you all again!!

Hope to make the Stratford meeting in September as it is on our doorstep, and maybe France too later on in the same month. @hotel cali trying to organise this. (Thanks Wim)
'till next time then....

Thanks all had a good time wish I had made more time to speak to everyone. Not sure where the time went.

Thanks for a great weekend. Oh we headed to the beach after too. Nice place for a cuppa and a bite to eat.

Yes many thanks to the organisers of this event. Great to catch up and put faces to the names.
One suggestion...it would be really good if there was somewhere we could meet in the evening, especially when the weather is bad and we all sit in our individual vans/awnings. Perhaps just a notice like 'we will be in the pub conservatory from 8 on Saturday' might help or even if those of us with pop up Quechua shelters/gazebos bring them and join them up to form a meeting area, obviously with the agreement of the site. A party tent :)
Great weekend thanks guys..thank you, much appreciated. Brill site too.

A brilliant weekend and a huge thank you to @SimonB, @Martin and @Calikev for organising. Thanks also to Simon for the loan of the child safety net (overall it worked — we only had to catch him a couple of times and we discovered he bounces pretty well ;)) and to Martin and Kev for the air-safe demo!

Sadly we didn't socialise much due to being frazzled from work + long trip + ill baby. I hope his wailing didn't disturb anyone — special thanks to all our patient neighbours, especially @Jabberwocky!

We're looking forward to the next one and I'd second @GillianC's suggestion for an area/time to meet. Great idea!

I was not there this weekend but did join COTF 2013 at the same site , we had a big tent to gather and there where sponsers/tradestands , workshops....., there where +100 Cali's back then , this was just a "small" meet....;) .
No doubt the organisers did great job , it takes a lot of effort and time to start organise such a meet !

This was the site when we arrived on Wednesday to set things up.

Thank you all for coming and it was lovely to put faces to all the Forum names. I think I managed to meet most of you.
@Martin, @Calikev & I also really enjoyed it so another one is definitely on the cards.
