NHS Campout - This Weekend

The weather forecast for Saturday is looking pretty good here in London.

Having to postpone Jack’s birthday party, originally scheduled for today, until the lockdown ends is softened somewhat by selling him two parties - one on Saturday and one at some unknown point in the future.

It’s not the prettiest campsite, but the shower block is amazing!

They have raised over £22,000 so far and Ian has interviews going out on the BBC tonight. Chris Evans also mentioned it in his radio show this morning so I expect this total will grow.
A great idea for a very good cause.

Just been out sprucing up the campsite ready for tomorrow's campout. Even nosey parked Talulah so we can get in and out easily without disturbing our neighbours.

I'm also signed up, but getting a rather lukewarm response from the family so think it may just be me and the van, with them making the long trek from the front door to the van on the drive for sunny and warmer lunch on Sunday

What a brilliant idea! I wonder if I have the oomph to try it on my own here in the car park in central London surrounded by lots of flats and no electricity to hand. Happy to give up the joys of the smart tv with a good book and a wee whisky but I haven't a clue how I would post a photo being long in the tooth and short on tech knowhow. I haven't even found where to make a donation!

Having just posted my first post, my lack of tech knowhow is demonstrated in my vehicle being shown as a T6 Beach 150, presumably from when I first signed up. It is in fact a California SE TDI BMT Auto - in case it matters?

Yes just got our van airing out ready for tonight and noticed after washing it the drainage channels are blocked at the front so got them cleared with a clear piece of hose and lung power
