Stanford Hall 2015

Following on from last year's success, I am in the process of booking our display / pitch for this year's Stanford Hall VW Show.

More information here when we get the passes. We filled the stand last year and had to let a couple of people down with late requests. So same rules as last year; t4 and t5 California's only please and forum members take priority.

Hi everyone, are you all camping sat and Sunday? I've just called them re facilities , not confirmed re basins/showers yet, toilets yes, food and music tents for evening, think we will do both, camping booked through stamford hall website by 23rd April, not sure on how it works with showing vehicles as it includes day pass.

Hi Spud,

Like most shows, facilities are normally basic, last year it was a combination of builders and portable toilet blocks.

The exhibitor pass will just get you onto the exhibition field, you will still need to buy your tickets normally.

Last year I sneaked along with my buddies who were on the Type 25 Dub Ball Cruise who had an arrangement with the organisers, and had a large club camp area.

Stanford Hall is the best show I go to each year, so can't wait. See you there!!

Incidentally - Their is a conventional, if basic camp site immediately behind the day visitor car park, so a short walk in if you want something more civilised.

I stayed at the campsite behind the show ground last year as I didn't have a VW, it is pretty good, the field closest to the show is basic however the main campsite has a shop, toilets, showers etc as you would expect. There were a few VWs next to me, I got the feeling they preferred to be a bit further away as it is a bit quieter. Now I have a T4 it will be good to be involved!

In the meantime, does anyone attending the event have access to a club banner or flag? We had someone bring one along last year and it would be great to represent ourselves properly again.
