Who's using the bluetooth version of Roger's solar panel set up?

Not sure whether to go for this?

I like the idea and fuss free nature of installation as well as geeky option but what if the app lacks development in the future and becomes incompatible with future iOS as many apps do?

How do people find it in operation?

Solar panel fitted by Roger this May.
Smart app on husband's iPhone all good so far .

Interested in thoughts on this too, I'm not intending to get a permanent solar install but I have been looking at the BMV700 monitor from Victron and their bluetooth battery monitor that I think Roger supplies. I love the techie stuff too but Im quite fancying one with an actual display on my leisure battery (in the seat base) as I suspect I would use that more.

Appreciate the solar one is an MPPT but I do hear they make good devices.

I have the bluetooth. Liked the gadgetery of it. To be honest a week in and I dont think I will use it much. The panel works. The installation is clean and tidy and I dont feel the need to keep checking it even now when its a new toy.

But was thinking, do the bluetooth and possibly plug a monitor in to the cigarette lighter socket for a permanant view.
